The challenge
IT Center delivers vocational and professional training across a wide range of fields — from web design and Photoshop to automotive mechanics, electricity, security systems, customer relations and early-childhood education — to a bilingual French- and Arabic-speaking audience. They needed a platform that reflected how they actually teach: a multi-category catalogue, a mix of free and paid courses, chaptered lessons, student progress, and accredited certificates. Every off-the-shelf LMS they evaluated forced that curriculum into a rigid, one-size-fits-all hierarchy. The result was always a compromise.
What we built
We architected and built a complete e-learning platform from scratch. A scalable PostgreSQL backend on AWS powers a Next.js and TypeScript frontend that works fully in both French and Arabic, including right-to-left layout. Learners browse a multi-category catalogue, enrol in free or paid courses, work through chaptered lessons with progress tracking, and apply for certificates on completion. Instructors manage courses, chapters and enrolments from a purpose-built admin dashboard without touching the codebase.
The result
- -Complete custom LMS delivered from zero. No off-the-shelf compromises.
- -Fully bilingual French / Arabic interface, including right-to-left layout
- -Multi-category catalogue with free and paid courses, chaptered lessons, and certificates
- -Scalable AWS infrastructure supporting hundreds of concurrent learners
- -Purpose-built admin dashboard: instructors manage courses without developer involvement
